Vaccine Description
It is a killed vaccine recommended for high risk groups according to Ministry of Health policy. The vaccine is given as single dose annually. Administer 2 doses (separated by at least 4 weeks ) to children from 6 months to 9 years who are receiving influenza vaccine for the first time. The most common adverse reactions include local reactions including soreness, erythema, and induration at the site of injection.Non specific systemic symptoms including fever, chills, malaise, and myalgia.
