Indication: cough suppression; common cold and allergy symptoms. Cautions: may cause drowsiness; alcoholic drinks should be avoided. Pregnancy. Side Effects: sedation and drowsiness. Dose: adult, 25-50mg (10-20ml of adult preparation) 3-4 times daily. Child 1-5 years, 6.5mg (5ml of paediatric preparation) 3 times daily. Child 6-12 years, 6.25-25mg (5-15ml of paediatric preparation) 3-4 times daily. |
