The government of the Kingdom of Bahrain provided a variety of radiological diagnostic equipment at Radiology department in primary care towards the advancement of services provided to the patients and visitors.

The following services have been made available in line with its goal of improving and enhancing the quality of service of radiology department, as follows:

• General X-ray exam:
  Available at all the Health centers.
• Ultrasound scans:

  • Hidd H.C.
  • Naim H.C.
  • Halat Bu Maher H.C.
• Bone Mineral Density (BMD):
  Available at:
  • Hamad Kano Health Center.
• Mammogram exam:
  Available at:
  • Naim H.C.
  • Hamad Kano H.C.
• Dental panoramic radiograph / Orthopantogram (OPG):
  Available at:
  • Hamad Kano H.C.
  • Ahmed Ali Kano H.C.
  • Yousif Engineer H.C.
  • Hidd H.C.
  • Naim H.C.
  • Shaikh Jaber H.C.
  • Bu Maher H.C.

Furthermore, a plan is in place to expand these services and provide new ones in all other health centers as part of the continuous development of radiological services.
