The Royal Medical Services – Mohammed bin Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa Specialist Cardiac Center is organizing an awareness event titled "Raising Awareness of Congenital Heart Diseases in Children" next Saturday at Seef Mall, from 10 AM to 10 PM.
This event is held in celebration of Global Congenital Heart Defect Awareness Week and aims to enhance awareness about the importance of early diagnosis, encourage adopting a healthy lifestyle, and promote good nutrition to reduce the risk of heart diseases.
The event will feature various interactive stations, including: A nursing station providing advice and support.
Medical consultation stations addressing chest pain, palpitations, and congenital heart defects, A CPR awareness station teaching infant and child resuscitation techniques, A physical therapy station highlighting the importance of physical activity, A nutrition specialist station offering guidance on a healthy diet for children.
