H.E. Dr. Jaleela bint Al-Sayed Jawad Hassan, Minister of Health, reaffirmed the strong health cooperation between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Sultanate of Oman, highlighting the importance of exchange visits and joint agreements to enhance coordination between the two countries. This came during her meeting with Prof. Dr. Khalid bin Humaid Al-Rasadi, Director of the Medical Research Center at Sultan Qaboos University, and the accompanying delegation, who visited Bahrain to learn about its experience in the field of genomics. The visit included a field tour of the National Genome Center laboratory, where a briefing on operational mechanisms was presented. At the end of the visit, the Omani delegation praised Bahrain’s pioneering experience in this field and expressed their appreciation for the Ministry of Health’s efforts in exchanging expertise and strengthening health cooperation between the two countries.
