The Genetic Blood Disorders Awareness Week falls on the period from 25 to 31 October every year. It is intended to encourage the provision of social and psychological care for patients, raise the society's knowledge of genetic blood disorders: their types, treatment and means of prevention. It also aims to draw attention to how patients can adapt to such diseases and disorders, and to shed light on the necessity of premarital examination, inasmuch as it one of the most common diseases, especially, in cases of endogamy. |
