Indications: coronary heart disease; prophylaxis of angina pectoris; post-myocardial infarction therapy; pulmonary hypertension; adjunctive treatment in heart failure. Cautions: pregnancy; not suitable for treating attacks of angina pectoris. Contra-indications: and Side Effects: (see Glyceryl trinitrate) Dose: initial dose, 5-10 mg twice daily for 2 days. Maintenance, 20 mg twice daily may be increased to 3 times daily.Max. 120 mg daily in divided doses. |
