Indications: hypertension, angina, arrhythmias, early intervention in acute myocardial infarction. Cautions, contra-Indications and Side Effects: same as propranolol; reduce dose in renal failure. Dose: by mouth, hypertension, 50-100 mg daily. Angina, 100 mg daily in 1 or 2 doses. Arrhythmias, 50-100 mg daily. |
