Indications: nutritional iron-deficiency anemia Side Effects: temporary discoloration of teeth or dentures (can be minimized by thorough brushing). Dose therapeutic, 375mg (75mg elemental iron) daily in divided doses. Preventive, 40-75mg (8-15mg elemental iron) daily in water or in juice. |
