This is a glycosylated recombinant human granulocyte- colony stimulating factor (rhG-CSF). Indications: to treat or prevent neutropenia in patients receiving myelosuppressive cancer chemotherapy and to reduce the period of neutropenia in patients undergoing bone marrow transplantation. Cautions: pre-malignant myeloid conditions; reduced myeloid precursors; sickle cell disease; monitor spleen size (risk of splenic rapture). |
