Indications: paracetamol overdosage. Cautions: asthma. Side Effects: hypersensitivity-like reactions, bronchoconstriction, rashes. Dose: by intravenous infusion, in glucose intravenous infusion, initially 150 mg/kg in 200 ml over 15 minutes, followed by 50 mg/kg in 500 ml over 4 hours, then 100 mg/kg in 1000 ml over 16 hours. |
