Description

It is the elevation of sugar ratio (glucose) in blood above the normal rate. This is as a result of malfunctioning of pancreas which is the responsible organ for releasing insulin which convert the blood sugar to energy in which the body will use. This issue will lead to accumulation of the sugar in the blood.

• Types of diabetes
- Type I
Occur as a result of complete defect of the pancreas in which it cannot produce insulin. As a result,    treatment depends on insulin, it is usually diagnosed at an early age  .
- Type II
Occurs often as result of partial defect at pancreatic function which produce small quantities of insulin or insuficiant amounts .it is usaually diagnosed in adults , but it began to show at early age because of childhood obesety . treatment depends on following a healthy diet plan andtaking oral medication . In some cases they need insulin .
- Secondary type
Gestational diabetes often disappears after birth

- Frequent urination
- Sever thirst .
- unintentional weight loss  .

- Slow healing of wounds .
