  • When is the latest I can take the Hajj vaccinations?

    You can visit your health center to take the necessary vaccinations for Hajj at least 10 days to two weeks before your travel to the holy sites.
  • I’m six months pregnant and don’t have any health problems. Can I go for Hajj?

    We advise pregnant women to postpone Hajj to avoid exhaustion and risks to the baby, as this may lead to complications in the holy sites, such as bleeding or signs of premature labor.
  • I’m using pills to delay my menstrual period. Currently, I take one pill three times a day, but during the rituals, I noticed a few drops of blood and fear it may increase. What should I do?

    You should consult the campaign’s doctor or nurse. If none are available, you may take two pills three times a day (maximum dosage) — provided you are not under a doctor’s care — of Primolut N 5mg. Duphaston tablets may also help in reducing the bleeding — two pills once a day.
  • I suffer from severe knee pain while performing the rituals. What do you recommend to reduce the pain?

    You should take pain-relieving and anti-inflammatory medications after meals, and use a knee brace during the day (remove it at night). You can also apply cold compresses to the joint or warm compresses to the muscles to ease the pain. Simple knee exercises may help improve flexibility and reduce discomfort.
