Ahmed Ali Kanoo Health Center Marks Gulf Nursing Day

Under the slogan of "citizenship; aspirations and hopes", Ahmed Ali Kanoo Health center organized a celebration on the occasion of Gulf Nursing Day in the center waiting hall. During the celebration, brochures of awareness and gifts were distributed to patients on this occasion. On his part, Chairman of Ahmed Ali Kanoo Health Center, Dr Ali Baggara extended sincere thanks and appreciation to the staff of Nursing Department for their efforts to serve both citizens and residents with all aspects of health . During his speech, Dr. Ali Baggara asserted the importance of the role of nursing in the health field , regarded as complementary to the doctor's work. "Nursing is a humanitarian profession in the first place", he said and added " it is one of the main pivots of health care, and nursing, as defined by the World Health Organization, is that work performed by the nurse to help individuals whether unhealthy or healthy through performing activities that contribute to promoting their health. In conclusion, Dr Baggara reiterated his thanks to all staff members in the nursing field and congratulated them on that occasion.
