The Kingdom provides its primary health services through 26 health centers and one clinic distributed over four health governorates. These centers provide curative, preventive, and rehabilitative services for the family and society. All citizens and residents are registered in health centers affiliated with their areas of residence for treatment and through a pre-determined referral system when necessary for secondary care. Services are provided by an integrated medical team in which many health professions participate, such as nursing, pharmacy, laboratory, radiology, and appointment coordinators. It also provides physiotherapy services through 9 health centers distributed across health governorates.
