Ministry of Health holds a workshop on the Bahrain Genome Project

The Ministry of Health held a workshop aimed at increasing health professionals’ awareness in regards to the Bahrain Genome Project following the initiation of the project’s first phase.

The workshop is primarily designed for health professionals working on the project and attracted a total of 25 health professionals from the Salmaniya Medical Complex and various other health centers.

Dr. Amani Al Hajiri, Project Manager and Nurse Khulood Ashoor highlighted the project’s objectives and explained how to fill out consent forms.

Dr. Amani Al Hajiri and Nurse Khulood Ashoor also addressed all legal and medical queries related to the Bahrain Genome Project and underscored the importance of continuing to hold workshops that raise professionals and patients’ awareness in regards to the project.
