Ensuring that Public Health is constantly aware of potential health emergencies and is well equipped with the preparedness plans to those emergencies.
Objectives/Responsibilities
- Implement preparedness and response strategies for emergencies or outbreaks in collaboration with public health departments.
- Monitor all developments in public health, particularly related to the spread of diseases and epidemics at the local, regional and international levels.
- Collect, enter, and analyze epidemiological data using (Tableau Software).
- Ensure that decision-makers in the ministry are informed of all disease-related information and trends.
- Support other departments within the ministry regarding projects and proposals as needed.
- Monitor the health situation related to the COVID-19 virus and respond to any unusual increase or surge in cases or hospitalizations by the relevant authorities.
