During a dialogue session as part of the “Future Bet” program - Minister of Health: Bahraini youth are the true wealth and the pillar of sustainable development

Her Excellency Dr. Jaleela bint Al-Sayed Jawad Hassan, Minister of Health, affirmed that continuing to empower Bahraini youth and providing them with wide opportunities to contribute to shaping the present and building the future of the nation represents a key pillar of the comprehensive development process led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the King of the Kingdom of Bahrain, may God protect him, and the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, may God protect him.
This came during a dialogue session with a distinguished group of youth participating in the third edition of the “Future Bet” program, organized by the Bahrain Institute for Political Development, in the presence of Dr. Ibtisam Al-Dallal, Member of the Board of Trustees of the Institute, Ms. Eman Faisal Janahi, Executive Director of the Institute, and a number of officials from the Ministry of Health and the Institute.
Her Excellency praised the “Future Bet” program as a qualitative dialogue platform that contributes to strengthening bridges of communication between youth and officials, enabling them to participate in shaping national ideas and visions.
During the session, Her Excellency gave a presentation on the ongoing efforts to enhance the healthcare system and strengthen the infrastructure, highlighting the role of youth in supporting and sustaining the health sector in line with the goals of Bahrain’s Economic Vision 2030.
She added that the Ministry continues to empower young national cadres through specialized training and qualification programs, and by opening opportunities for them to contribute to developmental initiatives, out of the firm belief that investing in their potential is a cornerstone for achieving sustainable development.
Her Excellency further stressed that citizens’ health remains a top national priority, and that strengthening integration between government institutions, the private sector, and civil society is essential to embrace youth-led initiatives in the health field. This, she noted, contributes to developing innovative and sustainable solutions to existing challenges, pointing to successful national experiences that have demonstrated the ability of youth to lead development.
At the conclusion of the session, the youth participants expressed their appreciation to Her Excellency the Minister of Health for providing this constructive dialogue opportunity, praising the chance to directly engage with officials and the motivation it offers to continue contributing to the health development journey in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
