Minister of Health Receives the President and Members of the Bahrain Medical Society

Her Excellency Dr. Jaleela bint Al-Sayed Jawad Hasan, Minister of Health, affirmed that the dedication of Bahraini physicians represents an essential foundation upon which the advancement and sustainability of the healthcare system are built. She highlighted the pivotal role of medical professionals in achieving the remarkable goals and accomplishments that stand as a national asset, contributing to the comprehensive development process led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the King of the Kingdom of Bahrain, may God protect him, and under the guidance of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, may God protect him.

This came during Her Excellency’s meeting with Dr. Amer Ibrahim Al-Derazi, President of the Bahrain Medical Society, and members of the Society’s board. She noted the prominent role played by the Bahrain Medical Society in supporting the ongoing enhancement of healthcare quality and efficiency in the Kingdom of Bahrain. The Minister emphasized the importance of further strengthening the effective partnership to implement more developmental programs that will positively contribute to empowering national medical cadres and advancing the healthcare system. She congratulated the new board of directors and wished them success in their mission to serve the Kingdom’s healthcare sector.

For his part, Dr. Amer Ibrahim Al-Derazi, President of the Bahrain Medical Society, expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the Minister of Health, affirming the Society’s commitment to continuing the expansion of its partnership with the Ministry of Health in a way that contributes to advancing the Kingdom’s healthcare sector and achieving the aspired goals.
