Ministry of Health to Host First Public Health Conference and Exhibition in November

The Ministry of Health has announced the organization of the First Public Health Conference and Exhibition, in collaboration with BDA for Health and Medical Conferences and Exhibitions, to be held from November 6 to 7 at the Gulf Convention Centre – Gulf Hotel.
The event will feature scientific sessions and workshops addressing the latest developments in the field of public health, alongside a specialized exhibition showcasing key medical innovations and modern technologies. The aim is to enhance collaboration between local and international experts and to facilitate knowledge exchange that supports the advancement of the health sector in the Kingdom.
In this regard, Dr. Samia Bahram, Assistant Undersecretary for Public Health and Chair of the Conference, affirmed that the First Public Health Conference in the Kingdom of Bahrain represents a strategic platform that brings together experts under one roof to strengthen public health policies and raise community awareness. She noted that the event will contribute to producing scientific and practical recommendations to help develop the health system and support the goals of Bahrain’s Economic Vision 2030.
Meanwhile, Ms. Maryam Al-Manaseer, Director of the Communications Directorate at the Ministry of Health and Head of the Organizing Committee, confirmed the committee’s full readiness to host this international health event. She highlighted their preparations to welcome experts and delegations from GCC countries and around the world, ensuring all necessary arrangements are in place to guarantee the conference's success and deliver impactful outcomes aligned with its objectives.
For his part, Dr. Adel Al-Sayyad, Public Health Consultant at the Ministry of Health and Chair of the Scientific Committee, stated that the conference will see participation from a distinguished group of specialists who will present cutting-edge research and studies covering various aspects of public health. He emphasized that the conference is the culmination of years of ongoing efforts in this vital field.
