Minister of Health Receives the Medical Committee of the Kingdom of Bahrain’s Hajj Mission

Her Excellency Dr. Jaleela bint Al-Sayed Jawad Hassan, Minister of Health, received the medical committee of the Kingdom of Bahrain’s Hajj Mission as part of ongoing efforts to monitor their readiness and preparations to provide healthcare services to Bahraini pilgrims during the Hajj season of 1446 AH.
The Minister emphasized the commitment to supporting the medical committee and providing the necessary requirements that contribute to the success of their mission in serving the pilgrims, in line with the highest standards of healthcare. She also praised the continuous support and facilitation provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the guests of Allah, which serves as a fundamental pillar in enabling medical missions to perform their duties efficiently and effectively.
She expressed her pride and appreciation for the dedicated national efforts exerted by the medical committee of Bahrain’s Hajj Mission, acknowledging their recurring humanitarian and national role in serving the pilgrims. The Minister stressed that their participation reflects a noble message and embodies Bahrain’s commitment to ensuring the provision of necessary healthcare for the pilgrims of the Holy Mosque.
For his part, Dr. Ibrahim Farouk Obeid, Head of the Medical Committee of Bahrain’s Hajj Mission, reviewed the committee’s action plan for this season. He explained that the medical team includes medical and nursing staff as well as allied health professionals. He noted that coordination is ongoing with the Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs, and Endowments, as well as with various relevant authorities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, to facilitate the committee’s mission and provide the best medical services to Bahraini pilgrims.
