Within the Framework of the Visit of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Kingdom of Bahrain: Signing of a Memorandum of Understanding in the Health Sector

Her Excellency Dr. Jalila bint Al-Sayed Jawad Hassan, Minister of Health, affirmed the Kingdom of Bahrain’s commitment—under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the esteemed King of the country, may God protect him, and with the continuous follow-up of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, may God protect him—to strengthening international partnerships in the health sector. This supports the exchange of medical expertise and knowledge and contributes to the ongoing development of health services provided to individuals.
This statement came on the occasion of the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Health of the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Ministry of Health of the brotherly Republic of Kyrgyzstan to enhance joint cooperation between the two countries in the field of healthcare. The MoU was signed as part of the visit of His Excellency President Sadyr Japarov, President of the Kyrgyz Republic, to the Kingdom of Bahrain. It was signed on behalf of Bahrain by Her Excellency the Minister of Health, and on behalf of Kyrgyzstan by His Excellency Mr. Jeenbek Kulubaev, Minister of Foreign Affairs.
The MoU outlines cooperation in several health-related areas of mutual interest, including primary and secondary healthcare, public health, medical education and training, joint health research, and the exchange of best medical practices. It also includes collaboration in the fields of food and drug regulation. Moreover, the memorandum aims to establish effective implementation mechanisms through specific cooperation protocols to ensure the sustainability of joint efforts in the health field and the achievement of desired objectives.
Her Excellency the Minister of Health emphasized that the signing of this MoU represents a new and significant step in the Kingdom’s ongoing efforts to develop international health relations. It opens broad horizons for fruitful cooperation with the brotherly Republic of Kyrgyzstan, to the benefit of the health sectors in both countries.
