Ministry of Health Announces the Opening of Online Registration for the Bahrain Medical Laboratory Symposium

The Ministry of Health has announced the opening of online registration for participation in the “Bahrain Medical Laboratory Symposium,” which will be held on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at the Diplomat Hotel. The event is organized in coordination with government hospitals, primary healthcare centers, and the Royal Medical Services, and in collaboration with Education Plus.
On this occasion, Ms. Amjad Ghanem Zayed, Head of Public Health Laboratories at the Ministry of Health and Chairperson of the Bahrain Medical Laboratory Symposium, emphasized that organizing this scientific event comes as part of the Ministry’s efforts to enhance the quality of laboratory services, positively reflecting on the level of healthcare in the Kingdom of Bahrain. She pointed out that the symposium serves as an advanced platform to showcase the latest developments and technologies in the field, and reflects the ongoing progress of the national healthcare sector.

The symposium’s program includes a series of scientific papers and discussions presented by a distinguished group of consultants and experts from the Kingdom of Bahrain, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates. The sessions will cover various topics including: rapid diagnostic testing, applications of biochemical technology in medicine, antimicrobial resistance, the use of artificial intelligence in clinical laboratories, and strategic planning for risk and disaster management.
