As part of her participation in the Abu Dhabi Global Healthcare Week 2025, Her Excellency Dr. Jaleela bint Al-Sayed Jawad Hassan, Minister of Health, held a series of bilateral meetings to discuss ways to enhance joint cooperation in the healthcare sector.

Her Excellency met with His Excellency Dr. Mikhail Murashko, Minister of Health of the Russian Federation, where they reviewed the health cooperation between the two countries and discussed areas of mutual benefit in digital health transformation, preventive health, and specialized training — all contributing to the advancement of innovation and the achievement of universal health coverage.

She also met with His Excellency Mr. Mansour Ibrahim Al Mansouri, Chairman of the Department of Health in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The two sides explored prospects for bilateral cooperation and emphasized the importance of strengthening strategic partnerships between the two brotherly nations in areas such as healthcare service development and the adoption of innovative initiatives to improve the quality of care.

In another meeting, Her Excellency met with Ms. Charlotte Ashton, Director of External Affairs at the Office for Health Economics in the United Kingdom. The discussions covered several topics related to the economic impact of health technologies, the role of health technology assessment in supporting decision-making, and potential areas of collaboration including investment in health, adult immunization programs, and innovative financing models for healthcare projects.

During these meetings, Her Excellency reaffirmed the importance of regional and international partnerships in the development of healthcare systems, as they play a vital role in enhancing the efficiency and quality of health services delivered to communities.
