Health Minister Affirms Continued Support for Young Talent to Achieve Excellence Receives Winners of the “Exceptional Volunteer” Contest and the National Project “Lamea”

Her Excellency Dr. Jalila bint Al-Sayed Jawad Hassan, Minister of Health, emphasized the Kingdom of Bahrain’s strong commitment to supporting and empowering youth, recognizing them as the hope of the present and future. Their creativity and ambition continue to fuel Bahrain’s progress under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, may God protect him, and the guidance of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, may God protect him. She also praised the ongoing efforts of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, His Majesty the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, and President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, for his steadfast support of Bahraini youth and his encouragement for them to reach greater achievements in various fields.

This came during Her Excellency’s reception of Dr. Fatima Abdulhadi Marhoon and Dr. Hassan Al-Mousawi, in celebration of their win in the “Exceptional Volunteer” competition, as well as Dr. Dhabiya Abdulaziz Al-Sada, Family Physician at Primary Health Care Centers, for her win in the fourth edition of the national project “Lamea”.

During the meeting, the Minister expressed her pride in the accomplishments of young professionals in the health sector, which reflect the competence and capabilities of Bahraini youth and their ability to excel in diverse fields. She also praised the recognition given by His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa to the winners of these national programs, noting that such honors are a significant motivator for young talents to channel their energy and potential toward innovation, creativity, and actively contributing to Bahrain’s sustainable development journey.

Her Excellency highlighted that the voluntary initiatives of youth within the healthcare sector reflect their commitment to community development. The “Exceptional Volunteer” competition supports and encourages Bahraini youth to achieve even more in raising the nation’s profile. Meanwhile, the “Lamea’” national project serves as an ideal platform for developing leadership and decision-making skills. It plays a vital role in empowering young national talents and enhancing their capacity to innovate and contribute to the advancement of key sectors in Bahrain, including healthcare.

The Minister concluded by expressing her best wishes to the winners for continued success and growth across various fields, encouraging them to keep leaving a positive impact through their volunteer efforts and active contributions, which reflect and reinforce the Kingdom’s core values.
