Dr Al Salman reiterates the importance of receiving a booster shot in light of the newly identified COVID-19 variant: 27 November 2021

The Consultant of Infectious Diseases and Internal Diseases at Salmaniya Medical Complex and Member of the National Medical Taskforce for Combatting the Coronavirus (COVID-19), Dr Jameela Al Salman, emphasised the importance of receiving a booster shot in light of the newly globally identified COVID-19 variant.

‏Dr Al Salman noted that with the detection of new varient cases  throughout the world, it's important to get vaccinated and receive a booster shot to protect one's health.

‏Dr Al Salman highlighted that the Kingdom’s National Vaccination Campaign continues its endeavors  to protect public health.
