SCH President visits Shaikh Jaber Health Centre
President of the Supreme Council of Health (SCH), Lieutenant General Dr. Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, stressed the government’s keenness to provide optimum health services, in line with the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the follow-up of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
In this context, the SCH President paid today an inspection visit to Shaikh Jaber Health Centre in Barbar, in the Northern Governorate, within the framework of following up on the implementation of HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister’s order to provide health services around the clock in nine health centres all over the kingdom. He toured the centre’s various departments, praising its advanced equipment. He was accompanied by Primary Healthcare Board of Trustees Chairman Dr. Abdulwahab Mohammed, SCH Secretary General Ibrahim Ali Al Nawakhdha, Primary Healthcare Chief Executive Dr. Jalila Sayed Jawad and SCH Self-Management Programme Director Dr. Mohammed Ali Shaban.
The SCH President extended sincere thanks and gratitude to HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister for his directives to grant frontline responders two additional promotional ranks or their equivalent. He lauded the efforts of the Ministry of Health and the Primary Healthcare Centres Directorate in equipping the nine health centres to work around the clock and deal with emergency cases related to family medicine.
