Health Ministry announces Ramadan timings for SMC, health centres

The Ministry of Health has announced the timings of the health centres and the Salmaniya Medical Complex (SMC) during the holy month of Ramadan, as follows:
 
-  The Northern Muharraq, Hamad Kanoo and Yousif Engineer health centres will be open 24 hours a day.
-  The Mohammed Jassim Kanoo Health Centre (Roundabout 17) will be open from 08:00 am to 11:00 pm seven days a week.
-  The remaining health centres will be open from 08:00 am to 07:00 pm every day, except for Fridays and Saturdays.
 
Regarding SMC, Outpatient clinics will be open from 08:00 am to 12:00 pm. Regarding the new consultations, the medical staff will call patients to agree on examination times. As for SMC’s extended clinics, they will be open from 02:15 pm to 05:00 pm.
 
Visiting times at SMC will be between 08:00 pm and 10:00 pm on Fridays, Saturdays, Mondays and Wednesdays.
 
Visits to patients at intensive care unit, cardiac wards and the burn unit will be from 8 pm until 9 pm.
 
Regarding the working hours of SMC’s pharmacies, the outpatient pharmacy, Al-Fateh pharmacy, and the hematology and oncology pharmacy will be open from 8 am to 13:30 pm in order to dispense new prescriptions and controlled prescriptions.
 
As for prescriptions for follow-up patients, they will be through the specified link for this service, which is available on the website www.Moh.gov.bh/eservice/pharmacy, where the medicines will be delivered to the patient within 48 hours from the time the application is received.
