HRH Princess Sabeeka thanked by Health Minister

Health Minister Faeqa bint Said Al Saleh expressed sincerest respect and gratitude to Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Wife of His Majesty the King and President of the Supreme Council of Women (SCW), for commending the noble efforts of the national medical and nursing teams in combating coronavirus (COVID-19).

Marking the World Health Day, which is celebrated this year under the theme “Supporting Nurses and Midwives”, the Health Minister praised Bahrain’s health achievements which have been recognised by international organisations. She described those accomplishments as the dividend of the unflinching support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to the health sector. She underlined follow-up of His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier.

The Health Minister asserted that the Bahraini society is reaping the fruit of investing in human resources, developing competencies and pressing ahead with sustainable growth. She pointed out the efforts to develop the health sector and optimize services for all people in Bahrain. She extended on behalf of the medical professionals heartfelt thanks and gratitude to HRH Princess Sabeeka for supporting the efforts of the medical and nursing teams, stressing the key role played by SCW. She prayed to Allah Almighty to protect HRH Princess Sabeeka and bless her with every success in serving the kingdom in the prosperous era of HM the King.
