Royal Charity Organisation supports Health Ministry
Thirteen Royal Charity Organisation (RCO) affiliates will join the Ministry of Health, which is battling the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).
The employees have been training by the Bahraini Women Development Society at the College of Health Sciences on basic nursing skills and other safety issues.
The move followed directives from His Majesty the King’s Representative for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, RCO Board of Trustees’ Chairman His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al-Khalifa.
RCO Secretary-General Dr. Mustafa Al-Sayyed announced the supportive initiative as he Received Health Ministry’s Human Resources Director Dr. Intissar Al-Romaithi.
The RCO has coordinated with Health Minister Faeqa bint Said Al-Saleh to support national efforts to combat coronavirus and protect citizens and residents’ safety.
Dr. Al-Sayyedpaid tribute to His Majesty King Hamad bin isa Al-Khalifa for his keenness on citizens an residents’ safety and health, hailing the strenuous efforts led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier through the National Taskforce for Combating COVID-19.
Health Minister Faeqa bint Said Al-Saleh also lauded HH Shaikh Nasser’s directives, hailing the RCO charity and humanitarian role in Bahrain and abroad.
