Ministry of Health: 8 Bahraini nationals discharged from quarantine after completing 14-day quarantine period
The Ministry of Health today announced 8 Bahraini nationals have been discharged from quarantine after completing a preventative mandatory 14-day stay, having tested negative for the Coronavirus (COVID-19), as per recommendations outlined by the World Health Organisation (WHO).
The Ministry highlighted that a total of 20 individuals have been discharged from quarantine so far.
The Ministry noted that the majority of those discharged from quarantine had returned from Iran during February, and the others had returned from other COVID-19 affected countries.
The Ministry further noted that all quarantined individuals are being monitored by a specialised medical team, and are cared for in line with guidelines established by the WHO, in order to ensure the containment of the virus and to safeguard the health of the community.
The Ministry of Health reiterates the importance of all individuals returning from Iran or other COVID-19-affected countries to schedule their mandatory medical examinations by visiting www.moh.gov.bh/444 or calling 444.
