Minister of Health receives First deputy - Speaker of Representative Council

H.E Minister of Health, Faiqa Saeed AlSaleh Received First Deputy Speaker of the Representative Council, H.E MP AbdulNabi Salman, H.E MP Kaltham Abdulkarim AlHaiki and H.E MP Falah Hashim Falahon Monday 11th Feb 2019 to discuss topics of relevance to health and health services provided to citizens and residents in the kingdom.

At the onset of the meeting H.E welcomed MPs and praised members of Parliament for the great role they play in strengthening communication and collaboration between officials of the government and members of the Representatives Council, and emphasized on the importance of holding these meetings to coordinate joint work of Executive and Legislative Authority.

Throughout the meeting, Their Excellences MPs discussed some major health issues most important of which; health services provided through Salmaneya Medical Complex and methods of their development, health projects expected to be established in various  governorates of the kingdom and training and employment of doctors  in addition to the treatment of SCA and MOH’s efforts towards giving this category of patients access to latest therapeutic methods.

For her part, H.E Minister of Health confirmed that the ministry is keen on the development of SMC health services within the framework of Health Insurance Program and Self-Managements of Hospitals, and pays a great attention to all topics laid on the table as it works hand in hand with the Supreme health Council, Ministry of Labor and Social development for the training and employment of doctors.

At the end of the meeting, attendees stressed on the importance of spreading communal awareness among Bahraini people, which will develop health their culture and help them alter bad health habits.
