SMC receives Dr. Mustafa Kamel (pediatric ophthalmologist )

Head of Ophthalmology unit at Salmaneya Medical Complex (SMC), Dr. Mohammed Naeem Naser noted that the unit received Pediatric Ophthalmologist and expert in the treatment of Strabismus, Dr. Mustafa Kamel, who examined during his visit 35 patients with eye birth defects, Exotropia and Hyperopia and Esotropia, Amblyopia and cataract.

Dr. Mustafa performed 11 surgeries with the assistance of Dr. Amani AlZayani and Dr.

Maitham ali Khadim, 10 of which were kids with Strabismus and one only was a female kid with Cataract in her eyes, and all of them were successful. Dr. Naeem Stated.

During his visit to Ophthalmology unit, Dr. Mustafa gave a scientific lecture to the doctors working at the unit entitled “ Treatment of Six Nerve Palsy “ to exchange latest Scientific updates on the treatment of Strabismus problems in kids and adults.

In his final statement, Dr. Naeem extended his sincere thanks to the supreme committee for treatment abroad for their continuous support and efforts towards providing needed medical care to all patients, as he thanked the medical team responsible for Strabismus clinic, Dr. AlZayani and Dr. Khadim.
