The activation of online appointment in the national system for health information ( I-Seha eServices )starting from Tuesday in Muharraq’s health centers

Director of HID, Mr. Khalid bin ali al-jalahma, announced that the inauguration of the 1st version of I-Seha eService system will take place on Tuesday, January 5, 2016 in all health centers of Muharraq’s governorate ( 6 health centers ). This system will enable patients from booking their appointments electronically through MOH’s website, and that is according to the available appointments in this trial period, as this system will be activated later in all the centers in the kingdom. Mr. Khalid Al-jalahma pointed out that this system aims at facilitating the process of appointments’ booking, and will also save the effort of health center’s trips on patients. Patients will be able also to postpone their appointments through a service called ( appointments reschedule ). Patients can go to the eService link on MOH’s website ( http://www.moh.gov.bh ) to book their appointments during a period of Six days. At the end of his statement, Al-jalahma pointed out that the first version of this system, which will be activated first in Muharraq’s health centers is considered a trial period to take the public’s opinion of this new service. It is worth mentioning that the national system of health services ( I-Seha ) is one of a number of E-Services to be activated gradually in health centers, which will contribute to the development of health services provided by MOH to citizens and residents in the kingdom of Bahrain.
