Overseas Treatment Department is now integrated with I-SEHA solution

From March 8th 2015 Overseas Treatment department is working with I-SEHA system, By this, I-SEHA is replacing the former MDIS system for the administrative management of patients who require overseas medical treatment. The integration of Overseas Treatment process with I-SEHA implies benefits such us: • Prevent Duplicate Invoice Payments • Have an accurate and up-to-date financial Data (Deposits, Allowances, refunds, etc) • Reduce the paper work and time and efforts to search manually for the Patients Data The I-SEHA Overseas Treatment module is integrated with the Electronic Health Record of the patient, so physicians will be able to see this information in the medical history. This is the first step towards the complete integration of the administrative and clinical information through I-SEHA, moment in which physicians could request directly the overseas treatment from the clinical station, and the administrative process for this request will be automatically activated. Finally, we would like to express our sincere acknowledgement and gratitude to all the health professionals from the Ministry of Health, since the achievement of this goal would have not been possible without their hard work and dedication.
