His Excellency the Minister of Health discusses chances of health cooperation with the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey

HE Mr. Sadiq bin Abdulkarim Al-Shihabi met in his office at the Ministry Building in Juffair the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey in the Kingdom of Bahrain, Ms. Hatun Demerer to discuss areas of cooperation between the two countries in the municipal health fields. In the beginning of the meeting, Minister Mr. Sadiq Al-Shihabi welcomed the Ambassador of Turkey, praising the areas of cooperation between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Republic of Turkey and looking forward for further cooperation between the two countries. Then Ambassador Damrer invited the Minister to visit the Republic of Turkey to see the health services with the aim to benefit from the medical & health experience for applying them to serve patients in the Kingdom of Bahrain. The two sides also discussed during the meeting, the possibility of cooperation in the field of diagnosing diseases and that to be done in the near future for the benefit of Bahraini patients where the Turkey specialists will review the patient's conditions and give their opinion according to the medical data given to them. The Ambassador of the Turkish Republic in the Kingdom of Bahrain , Ms. Hatun Demerer explained that in Turkey there are at least 15 Turkish universities that offer higher medical education in medicine and assisted medical sciences with considering the possibility of the Ministry of Health in the Kingdom of Bahrain benefiting from it.. For his part, His Excellency Mr. Sadiq bin Abdulkarim Al-Shehabi emphasized the keenness of the Ministry of Health in the Kingdom of Bahrain to support the cooperation between Bahrain and Turkish sides in the field of health due to its importance to serve the patients in the two countries, wishing that all proposals and aspirations will be placed into practice as soon as possible. At the end of the visit, His Excellency Mr. Sadiq bin Abdulkarim Al-Shehabi thanked Ambassador Demerer and they looked forward to continue holding bilateral meetings between the two countries, and in turn, the Ambassador of the Turkish Republic in the Kingdom of Bahrain , Ms. Hatun Demerer thanked the minister for hosting her & for his hospitality. The meeting was attended by the Assistant Undersecretary for hospitals Dr Ameen Al-Sa'ati and Acting Director of Public and international Relations and Ms. Anisa Al-hoihi.
