Awareness festival for the occasion of the Gulf mouth and teeth week in Lulu Hypermarket - Medical test and health and health instructions and stage performances are of the most prominent events

Continuation of the events of the Gulf fifth unified week to improve mouth and teeth health that's held under the title "Teeth are health and beauty" as the organizing and coordinating committee held an awareness event in Lulu Hypermarket in Al-Hidd area that witnessed good attendance by the people of Muharraq Governorate. The event included a group of activities that contained doing awareness and educational workshops and competitions and games for children and educational means. It also contained examination of mouth and teeth and general medical tests and providing advices regarding school food bag and health instructions and performing a play about mouth and teeth health in addition to an exhibition of children drawings, health and educational comic films. Holding this event and other events of the Gulf fifth unified week to improve mouth and teeth health is based on preventive medicine which is a principle branch of medicine and aims to predict diseases and prevent them before they happen and minimize their severity and complications which positively affects the quality and length of life and societies' health in general. Preventive medicine depends mainly on health education as the last decades witnessed radical change in the types of the diseases and the way of their transmission as so it became necessary for lots of civilized world countries to find central and effective administration for health education by putting health and preventive plans and strategies for society members of all age groups. The interest of Ministry of Health in the Kingdom of Bahrain regarding mouth and teeth health comes in commitment to instructions from the wise leadership about the necessity of caring about providing all forms of health care for all citizens and residents equally including providing high quality care in the field of mouth and teeth health for all reviewers. It is worth mentioning that there is a series of coming events for this week including an awareness festival in Seef Mall on Thursday 27 March 2014, an awareness festival in farmers market on Saturday 29 March 2014, on Sunday 30 March 2014, there will be events in Al-Ramli Mall in A'ali Area and in 31 March 2014, there is a festival in Muharraq municipality.
