Giving lectures on hepatitis - A delegate from “Florence Nightingale hospital” in Turkey visits patients of liver transplant in SMC.

Dr. Amin Al Saati, assistant deputy for Hospitals, received this morning, Monday, March 10th , 2014 a visiting delegate from Florence Nightingale hospital” based in Turkey. The delegate consists of experts in digestive system and hepatitis. The reception was in SMC. Accompanied by the treatment team in SMC, the specialized team had a look at Bahraini cases undergoing liver transplant operation to check their health conditions and follow if they need a healthy support. In addition, the delegate gave advice and guidelines due to their long experience in this field. The delegation gave two valuable lectures on the latest developments in liver transplant diseases and ways of treating them. They also talked about methods of evaluating patients planned to undergo liver transplant.
