MINISTRY OF HEALTH VISIT INDRA MUTINATIONAL TECHNOLOGY COMPANY IN SPAIN TO PROMOTE I-SEHA

A delegation of senior officials from Ministry of Bahrain visited Spain to exchange the experience and knowledge of incorporating IT technology in Health Care with Indra Company which is in charge of implementing the National Health Information System (I-Seha) in Bahrain. The delegation was comprising Undersecretary of Ministry of Health Dr. Aysha Buaneq, Mr Khaled Al Jalahma Director of Health Information Directorate, Mr Shafee Al Natee the program manager of I-Seha Program and Dr. Mohamed Al Sowaidi the secondary Healthcare representative. During their one week visit to Spain to share the experience, the delegation met with the executives of the firm and they held various meetings with the main customers of the Company in the Healthcare industry. The delegation visited some of the most relevant experiences of using technology in Healthcare in Europe such as The Diraya Health Network, a reference similar to i-Seha as a Regional Health Record repository that maintain the clinical data of all the citizens, more than 8 million in the case of Andalusia; The Centre of Excellence of the Ykonos project, the world benchmark in Digital Medical Imaging, and Toledo Hospital Complex, whose radiology service is one of the largest in the Castilla La Mancha region; and The advance Contact Center for Healthcare in the region of Madrid, where more than 6 million citizens can interacts with Healthcare administration through different channels to select the medical services they desire for their consultation and treatments They visited Headquarter in Madrid as well as in the main Software and Innovation Laboratories.
