KFH-Bahrain donates 400 Thermo Flash Thermometers for 240

Kuwait Finance House – Bahrain (KFH-Bahrain), one of the leading Islamic banks in Bahrain and the region, donated 400 state of the art Thermo Flash Thermometers for 240 public schools in Bahrain, in support of Ministry of Health H1N1 diagnosis initiatives. Mr. Abdul Razak Jawahery, Executive Manager at KFH-Bahrain, presented a cheque to Dr. Abdulhay Al Awadi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health, Kingdom of Bahrain. Dr. Abdulhai Al Awadhi, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health, conveyed the gratitude and appreciation of HE Dr. Faisal Bin Yaqoub Al-Hammar, Minister of health, emphasizing on the important role played by KFH-Bahrain to support all the Ministry's endeavours, which help the Ministry of Health to provide high quality health services in the Kingdom of Bahrain. Dr. Maryam Al Jalahma, Assistant Undersecretary for Primary Care and Public Health of the Ministry of Health, hailed the quick response of KFH-Bahrain in making the donation, stressing that such important initiatives from the private sector has became a necessity to support all the public sector’s in its programs and plans, encouraging the private sector to participate and provide the support for a better health services in Bahrain. On the occasion, Mr. Abdul Razak Jawahery said, "As a socially responsible organization, KFH-Bahrain has always believed in giving back to the society and the environment we live in. We are proud to offer this support to assist the Ministry of Health in keeping our schools free of the H1N1 virus. This technology allows temperature to be taken at a distance of about 5cm away from the forehead.
