-Your Excellency Mary McAleese, President of Ireland, -Your Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Salman Al Khalifa, The Prime Minister, -President, Royal College of surgeons in Ireland -Your Excellencies, Ladies and Gentleman. It give me honor and pleasure to participate in the official opening of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, Medical University of Bahrain Campus. The patronage of H.H Shaikh Khalifa Bin Salman Al-Khalifa, the Prime Minister of this ceremony is clear evidence of H.H. Support for the Educational and Health initiatives in the Kingdom of Bahrain and H.H. concern for the Bahraini youths to obtain high level of Medical Education. The Royal college of surgeons in Ireland is a prestigious canter of excellence in the field of Medical Education and over the past years significant number of Bahraini as well as Arab students joined its Dublin Campus. With Support, encouragement and sound futuristic vision of H.H. The Prime Minister and great efforts of H.E. Dr. Faisal Al-Mousawi and his team, the Medical University of Bahrain was established and it became possible for our students to join it .. here in their country Bahrain, and within their community and family members. The Dream has become true and this is attributed to the support of the wise leadership of his majesty the King of Bahrain, H.H. The Prime Minister and H.H. The Crown Prince. Ladies and Gentlemen, Medical Education is unique, it is full of challenges, responsibilities and willingness for devotion and Royal College of Surgeons … the Medical University of Bahrain is the Centre of excellence that will train and prepare our students and enrich them with medical knowledge, skills and attitudes. We also hope the RCSI will contribute to our initiatives for improving the health services in the Kingdom of Bahrain. Your Excellency Mary McAleese … your presence with us today reflects your commitment for strengthening the sound cooperation between our two countries.
