The ministry of health receives many noble contributions and initiative from the private sectors, which embodies the principle of communal partnership and plays a great role in raising the quality of health and therapeutic services.

The private sector and its experience had a great contribution in the following:

1. Finding methods to strengthen private sector’s contribution in constructions investments.
2. Study of providing health and support services and health centers by the private sector:
   • Privatization of dialysis services.
   • Privatization of central sterilization services
   • Privatization of pest and rodent control services.
   • Privatization of the health licensing project for the food establishment.

Within the framework of service project included in Government action Plan 2015-2018 and in light of the policy of private sector support and raising the quality of health services; many health projects were established most important of which are, dialysis center in Hunaineya, expansion of Zallaq health center and Hoora Center, physiotherapy center in Hamad Kanoo Health center in addition to the establishment of multi car parks in Salmaniya medical center and many new health centers in different areas such as; Duraz, Sitra, Qalali, Askar and Long stay center in Muharraq.
