Ahmed bin Zayed Al Zayed, Head of the Civil Service Bureau (CSB) issued Civil Service Directives 6/2021, on extending the work-from-home policy on government employees and the mandatory COVID-19 rapid test for employees periodically until  July 2.

This came upon the decisions issued by the Coordination Committee, which aims to support and strengthen national efforts to address COVID-19 pandemic, and to take all precautionary measures to limit the spread of the virus.
 
The directives also included the continuation of allowing entry to government service centers and offices only for visitors who received the vaccination and completed 14 days after the second dose, and those who recovered from the virus, by showing the green logo through the “Be Aware” application, and for those over 18 years old only.
