Health Ministry closes AMA International School (Primary) until May 17
The Ministry of Health has shut down AMA International School (Primary level) from tomorrow, May 9, until the 17th of May.
The decision was coordinated with the Ministry of Education. Required measures will be taken to ensure that all students continue learning online.
Under an edict issued by the Assistant Undersecretary for Public Health, the school will not reopen unless the Directorate of Public Health makes sure that no new active cases are registered during the aforementioned period, and that the period of isolation prescribed for active cases and their contacts has been completed, based on precautionary measures and the health protocols issued by the National Medical Team for Combating Covid-19.
The school is also required to complete the disinfection of all its facilities before resuming classes, pending a permission issued by the Directorate of Public Health.
