Health Ministry urges full compliance with precautionary measures
Health Ministry Undersecretary Dr. Waleed Al Manea urged full compliance with all mandatory precautionary measures for combating the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).
Dr. Al-Manea, also member of the National Taskforce for Combating COVID-19, said that the success of national efforts to curb the spread of the pandemic necessitates continued social awareness to protect public health and safety.
In a statement today, stressed the need to abide by the health protocols and mandatory precautionary measures set by the National Taskforce for Combating COVID-19.
He warned against any complacency of recklessness which would expose the whole society to danger and cause a surge of infections.
“Any recklessness at this stage will threaten the health and safety of everyone”, he said, stressing the need to curb the spread of the virus in society.
He affirmed the safety and efficacy of vaccination which went through various phases of testing, ensuring the occurrence of a strong immune response and continuous antibodies.
He indicated that the Kingdom of Bahrain was one of the first countries to receive vaccinations that meet the standards of effectiveness and safety.
He addedadding that that the process of taking the vaccination is proceeding in full swing and smoothly, He called on everyone to take the initiative to take vaccinations that will provide protection against the virus
