Isa Town Health Centre’s family physician Dr. Mooza Khalid Al-Dhawadi urged full adherence to mandatory precautionary measures form combating COVID-19 until the 1st of October.
 
She stressed the necessity of adhering to the guidelines and recommendations set by the National Taskforce for Combating Covid-19 and other competent authorities in support of medical efforts to protect people’s health and safety.
 
Dr. Al-Dhawadi urged support to the medical staff and health professionals who are striving on the frontlined, along with other competent authorities, to combat the pandemic and curb its outbreak and mitigate its fallout on people, particularly patients suffering from chronic diseases and the elderly.
 
She cautioned against any complacency  in complying with the mandatory precautionary measures, urging people to avoid gatherings which cause the spread of the virus and lead to a surge in infections, including asymptomatic cases.
 
She urged people to wear face masks all times, sterilize
surfaces regularly, wash hands, using sanitisers, and avoid going out except for living necessities and adhere to social distancing requirements.
 
Dr. Al-Dhawadi urged the public to contact the National Call Centre 444 in the event that any symptoms of Coronavirus (Covid-19) appear, stressing the need to adhere to all given instructions.
