Health Minister inspects quarantine centre
Minister of Health, Faeqa bint Said Al-Salah, has extended deepest congratulations to medical and health teams, as well as volunteers at the precautionary quarantine centres in Hidd, marking Eid Al-Adha, stressing the key role they are playing amid the exceptional circumstances the entire world is going through as a result of the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).
The minister praised the unwavering support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. She also extended sincere thanks to His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, for their constant follow-up on the efforts exerted by the Team Bahrain to protect the health and safety of everyone.
Al-Saleh made the statements as she inspected today a number of Health Ministry’s isolation, treatment and precautionary quarantine centres, in appreciation of the tremendous efforts the health sector workers, including doctors, nurses, paramedics, administrators, technicians and volunteers, are exerting round the clock to fight the pandemic, within a well-thought-out integrated system to safeguard the safety and health of the citizens and residents.
The minister was briefed by the Quarantines Director at the Ministry of Health about the Hidd quarantine centre, regarding its responsibilities and activities for inmates.
The medical and health competencies at the quarantine facility expressed sincere thanks and appreciation to the minister for her unlimited support, which, they said, has contributed to improving health services.
While commending the efforts of the Hidd quarantine centre’s staff, the minister stressed the importance of carrying on work with determination to ensure the success of the precautionary measures and preventive strategies adopted by the kingdom to defeat COVID-19.
