Health Ministry Assistant Undersecretary warns against gathering during Eid Al Adha
The Assistant Undersecretary for Public Health at the Ministry of Health Dr. Mariam Al Hajri stressed that Bahrain continues to intensify all efforts and take precautionary steps to limit the spread of coronavirus.
She called on everyone to abide by instructions issued by the National Taskforce for Combating the Coronavirus, and cautioned against large family gatherings during Eid Al Adha to avoid a spike in the number of cases.
The assistant undersecretary highlighted the most important instructions that must be followed to prevent the spread of coronavirus, including avoiding gatherings and physical contact, and called for regular surface sterilization, washing hands with soap and water and using hand sanitizers regularly.
Dr. Al Hajri emphasized the importance of covering the mouth while coughing or sneezing, avoiding to come in direct contact with anyone bearing any symptoms of the virus, wearing facemasks when in public and calling 444 in case of any symptoms of the virus.
