Health Minister, Faeqa bint Said Al-Saleh, has praised the letter of the Chairperson of the Council of Commissioners at the National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR), Maria Khoury.
 
In her letter, the NIHR chief expressed sincere thanks and appreciation to the Health Ministry, and the health sector for the health care and services provided by the medical competencies during the current circumstances in the face of the coronavirus challenge.
 
The minister lauded Maria Khoury’s letter of thanks addressed to the Ministry of Health, noting that her praise of the medical staff will motivate them to continue exerting more efforts at the front line to achieve maximum health security for all the citizens and residents.
 
The letter of the Council of Commissioners’ Chairperson also commended the efforts of the “Team Bahrain”, which is one of the fruits of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s directives, and which will document Bahrain’s human rights and health achievements regionally and globally.
 
Khoury also extended thanks to all health sector employees who cooperated with the NIHR while carrying out its humanitarian duties.
 
Recently, the NIHR’s Detention and Facilities Visitation Committee paid a field visit to the isolation, treatment and precautionary health quarantine facilities, and noted the medical cadres’ professional and humanitarian work during the current exceptional period.
