Interior Minister, General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa praised today cooperation of all people in Bahrain in complying with the safety regulations and public order. He described the inherent patriotic stance as a reflection of high awareness and civilisation of the Bahraini society as well as commitment to the preventative measures to curb the outbreak of coronavirus (COVID-19).

Chairing the Interior Ministry’s weekly meeting, which was held online through the video conferencing technology, the Interior Minister was briefed on the work progress of all security sectors and the efforts to meet all requirements and tackle hinders that could affect performance.

He expressed appreciation to the Interior Ministry’s directorates in dealing with the current situation and ensuring the security and safety of all. He called for the continuation to perform duties as part of the national campaign against the coronavirus.
